I meet clients where they are to build a safe space focused on working toward the change they want to see in themselves. I utilize a variety of counseling approaches, including cognitive behavioral, mindfulness, solution-focused, strengths-based, and person-centered interventions. I guide clients in exploring what they’re looking for, establishing their goals, and processing their struggles so they can live with meaning, fulfillment, and purpose. I am honored to be part of clients’ journeys to growth and healing.
I have worked in private practice, community mental health, intensive outpatient, and other clinical settings to provide mental health care and counseling services. I have a master’s degree in counseling from Sam Houston State University, as well as bachelor’s degrees in psychology and human development and family sciences from the University of Texas at Austin.
I am a Licensed Professional Counselor Associate being supervised by Chi-Sing Li, PhD, LPC-S, LMFT-S, and I hold a National Certified Counselor (NCC) credential from the National Board of Certified Counselors.
My eclectic style allows me to focus on integrating clients’ morals, values, and personal history. My clients and I collaborate to discover and determine the most effective goals. I believe in guiding clients with identifying ways counseling will lead to their personal growth and achievement. I love seeing my clients accomplish goals! I assist clients with addressing barriers and processing issues facilitate clients in living life with clarity, confidence, and prosperity.
I have experience working in private practice, mental health consulting with schools, and organizations, residential and inpatient psychiatric treatment facilities, crisis counseling, and community mental health clinics.
I have a PhD in International Psychology from The Chicago School. I have a professional certification as a Licensed Clinical Professional Counselor (LCPC) in Illinois and a Licensed Professional Counselor in Texas.
